Garnet's Gold  the story of a man searching for his fortune, as well as rockumentary Super Duper Alice Cooper are on TFF screens; Maravilla chronicles a boxer's uphill battle, and Der Samurai finds our most primal impulses. Also, the 30 for 30: Soccer Stories shorts program hits the big screen.  

Plus, head out to see the documentaries Beyond the Brick: A Lego Story, Misconception and Slaying the Badger. Check out the narrative feature Bad Hair, too.

Tribeca Talks Pen to Paper: Calling the Shots

Documentary and narrative films can have an impact on society and the environment. Join us for a panel discussion with TFF 2014 filmmakers Ira Sachs (Love is Strange), Orlando von Einseidel (Virunga), Sofia Norlin (Broken Hill Blues), and Marshall Curry (Point and Shoot) to talk about cinema's power to affet change. Moderated by IndieWire's Eric Kohn, this is a free event and doesn't require tickets.
