Our Summer Fridays feature narrows down a wide array of film and non-film related activities so you don’t have to.
Friday, June 20
No matter how old we are, we'll always be thankful for Fridays. TV Hangover's monthly events at Videology certainly celebrate Fridays as well- and this time they'll be screening 90s classics like Boy Meets World, Clueless, and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Controversial filmmaker Harmony Korine (Kids, Spring Breakers) is exploring a different medium through his exhibition "Shooters" at the Gagosian Gallery. Korine's pieces still exude the same sense of mixed media and spontanaeity that he applies to his films, and are definitely something to see this weekend. The exhibition is open through July 11.
Go hangout with The Dude this weekend, and take advantage of IFC Center's screening of The Big Lebowski. If you've never gotten the chance to The Dude, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing, this is the perfect way to take in all the Coen Brothers' 90s cult classic.

If you don't feel like dancing, you're more than welcome to take off the headphones and grab a drink with your friends and chat at a normal volume, because you can.
