Starring Alfred Molina and John Lithgow, Love is Strange tells the story of Ben and George, an elderly newlywed couple living in Manhattan. When word of their marriage gets around, Ben loses his teaching job at a Catholic school and the couple can no longer afford to live in the city. Relationships become strained as the couple has to rely on the hospitality of their family and friends to keep up appearances.
Love is Strange, written and directed by Ira Sachs, saw its New York premiere at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. The film will open in theaters on August 22nd.
