Born in 1969, HOLGER TAPPE initially trained in a Berlin photographic
technical college before studying New Media Design at Hannover College. In 1999, he founded the Ambient Entertainment Corporation along with Stefan Mischke. The company specializes in 3-D animation, CGI film production, and digital postproduction. Their first large-scale cinema production was Back to Gaya (2004), the first German wholly digital animation film, on which Tappe, together with Lenard F. Krawinkel, acted as producer and director.
REINHARD KLOOSS held several managerial and creative positions at Bavaria Film Corporation-most recently, from 2004-2006, as managing director of their feature film subsidiary, Bavaria Pictures. Between 1995 and 1997 he managed the Babelsberg Film Corporation, the production subsidiary of Babelsberg Studio. He was also the founding director of Odeon Film PLC. Since 2006 Klooss has worked as producer, writer, and director for Constantin Film AG in Munich and is responsible for their Animation Department.
