NARRATIVE SHORT | 18 MIN | unknown

Set against the backdrop of an L.A. rainstorm, Shelter follows four characters over the course of one night, as they grapple for meaning in a meaningless town. On the surface, a crisis counselor, a college co-ed, a barstool prophet, and a father share nothing in common, but as they drift in and out of the storm, we see the driving forces that unite them and the truth that keeps them apart. Hutton's deliciously existential short features stellar performances in an aptly bleak setting.
