Ha'Aki is an abstract-impressionist animation film in which the animation and the music were made simultaneously in an organic process of symbiotic creativity. Filmmaker Iriz Pääbo tells the highly subjective story of a hockey game, using NHL stalwart of the '60s and '70s Eric Nesterenko as her muse in this artistic journey. Ha'Aki is an effusive, lyrical, and wonderfully unorthodox interpretation of hockey as played in the mind of an effusive, lyrical and wonderfully unorthodox animation artist.
